I was invited to paint a warm forest mural at Centennial United Methodist Church, helping to tie together a full remodel of their serving kitchen and community space. The idea was for the mural to be able to stand alone and also serve as a backdrop for a regular rotation of exhibiting artists. I’m grateful to be able to share my paintings and my mural on the same wall - that’s a first!

Australia Dreaming, 2019

Life is too short for boring walls, I say! My latest mural is in our boys' bedroom. They are growing up fast and I want them to always feel connected to their birth county. A pop of color is welcomed in the midst of our never-ending Minnesota Winter too!

Yoga Calm Landscape, Crestview Elementary School , Cottage Grove, MN, 2018

Crestview's school social worker uses this big, beautiful room to teach social and emotional skills to elementary students. The kids love practicing yoga and deep breathing while enjoying the mountain views. This is a good example of a simple mural that can be done with limited time and budgets - this took only one day to complete.

CARES Mural, Emmet D. Williams Elementary School, MN, 2017

This 24' x 9' CARES mural was designed to brighten the cafeteria and bring the shared values of the school to life. This was a wonderful opportunity to give back to not only my old school, but also my children's school. Special thanks to first grade teacher, Mrs. Engle for her artistic help.

Three Seasons Mural, Children's Way Preschool, MN

During the summer of 2015, I was honored to be asked to paint this mural for Children's Way Preschool in Arden Hills, MN. The flowers, bird houses, and swing will be used as growth charts for a fun visual to see how much the kids grow each season. The wall is 8' x 11' and I really had a lot of fun with the playful theme and style.

CUMC Youth Room Mural, MN 2016

During the summer of 2016, I was commissioned to bring new life into the middle school youth room of Centennial United Methodist Church in Roseville, MN. After several rounds of designs, we settled on this colorful, edgy scene inspired from a sunset at our family's cabin near the Boundary Waters. At 40 feet long, it was a huge undertaking, and I was happy to have help from an artistic youth, Sofia Harvey. I loved every minute of this massive project!
